Kung Fu (Gong Fu or Wu shu), of Chinese origin, means Traditional Martial Art (in truth, it is a little more complex than that…). The origin of most modern martial arts, it is practiced today by millions of people of different races, cultures and ages.
The practice of Kung Fu is conducive to an awareness of the body image. Well coordinated, one develops full physical possibilities, balancing laterality and verticality, interesting concept in our fundamentally cerebral and one-sided societies…
Learning is structured around forms. They are a succession of movements, sequences of techniques with bare hands or with weapons (sword, stick, saber, spear, etc.) which are applicable in defence.
Kung Fu, in close relationship with nature, is often developed from the observation of animals such as the tiger, the leopard, the crane, the dragon, the snake; the founders have often demonstrated a perfect sense of mimicry.

Tai Chi Chuan owes its name to Taoist philosophy, it is the boxing of Yin and yang, principle of eternal change.
Even if it has been considerably simplified to be transmitted to the greatest number, Tai Chi Chuan is fundamentally a martial art, as such, we seek in these slow and graceful movements a meaning and an application linked to the martial art. The slowness characterizing the practice of the first level as well as a demanding coordination develop the development of the inner strength of the practitioner.
Like all traditional Chinese martial arts, Tai Chi Chuan is synonymous with breathing, conducive and beneficial to the meridian lines of the body (especially practiced in acupuncture). Transmitting energy throughout the body like a regenerated fluid, this sequence without jerks and alive nourishes all the organs, weakens the knots, the tensions, bodily and psychological blockages.
It is also a precious cultural transmission…

Unlike Tai Chi Chuan, Chi Kong (Qi Qong) is a non-martial internal art.
It is a system of revitalization, of "practice of energy", both physical and psychic, as much bodily as spiritual, a concept which dates back more than 5000 years. A fundamental principle of Taoist philosophy, it is one of the 4 pillars of traditional Chinese medicine, along with food, medicinal herbs and the treatment of points. acupuncture (needlework, massage, moxibustion…).
Its practice increases natural healing resources, activates and refines vitality; Chi Kong restores internal harmony while allowing the individual to align with the energy of the universe and to be in harmony with nature.
There are many systems of Chi Kong, however, we find in this wealth the same roots that have their sources in Taoist philosophy. Each Master develops a part of this precious transmission by sometimes becoming a sage, so great is his understanding, his longevity and his spiritual development.

The Pakua (bagua) is one of the most popular schools in China. It is also called the boxing of the 8 trigrams.
This style is considered internally as Tai chi chuan, and is based on the ancient Chinese philosophy of the eight combinations of whole and broken lines used in divination.
The practitioner moves in a circle according to the eight trigrams with palm techniques. A total of 64 turns and palm movements are practiced in the solo form. The Pakua exhibits dexterity and agility. When you move, it's like walking through a muddy place, the footsteps changing all the time like running water. palm techniques and body movements follow one another. Alas, what we see today is only a pale reflection. Fabien and Saline teach different schools of Pakua learned from Masters Cheng, Y.C.Wong, Yu ...here -
Shuai Jiao means "grab and throw". According to a Chinese saying, long distance strikes, short distance throws. Its history dates back to the legend of the Yellow Emperor (2600 BC).
Chinese wrestling is not like judo or Greco-Roman wrestling. We after strikes and throws. This style is widely used in police defense. Every Kung Fu master has techniques of this art. A good fighter is judged not only for efficiency but also for aesthetics.
